How do I make a glass claim?

Essentials does not include any cover for glass only claims – this means there is no cover should you have any damage to your car that only affects your windscreen, windows or sunroof glass. However, if your glass is damaged in an accident, we’ll replace it as part of your overall car repair.

With Plus, Plus with Roadside, Plus with Legal and Premier, if you have a damaged window or windscreen, we’ll repair it (£25 excess) or replace it (£150 excess) and if you use one of our approved repairers the most we will pay will be the market value of your car at the time of the loss. If you use one of your own repairers the claim will be limited to £50. If you have damaged glass that forms part of your car’s roof (including sunroofs and panoramic roofs), your policy excess will be payable.

A windscreen claim won’t have any effect on your No claim discount (NCD) entitlement.
