How can I stop auto-renewal?

Some people forget to renew their home insurance which means they may accidentally be without cover. To help our customers avoid this problem, we give them the option of buying our home insurance policy on an auto-renewal basis. This means that if your personal details haven’t changed, you don’t need to do anything.

If you don’t want to renew your home insurance policy, you can cancel your renewal by logging into your My Account:

  • Scroll down to "Notifications" section
  • Click on Cancel renewal link

If you are not currently in the 28 day renewal cycle then you can stop auto-renewal by logging into your My Account:

You can opt in or out via view payment details or the following:

  • Scroll down to "My policies" section
  • Find insurance policy you wish to change and select "Change policy"
  • Select 'Edit automatic renewal'
